Ryan Badmaev

Ryan Badmaev is an associate who joined Willow Legal Advisors to provide the legal assistance clients need to achieve their commercial and economic goals.

Background

Mr. Badmaev first realized his passion for business while earning a finance degree from West Virginia University. Mr. Badmaev continued pursuing that passion at the WVU College of Law, taking every business-related class possible, as well as internships with multiple federal bankruptcy courts. Mr. Badmaev joined Willow Legal Advisors as a full-time associate after interning with the Firm during his last year of law school. Mr. Badmaev has integrated with the Willow Legal Advisors team by assisting clients, both local and out-of-state, in developing and maintaining their businesses and business relationships, as well as assisting funds develop and maintain compliance mechanisms.

Expertise

Mr. Badmaev utilizes his education in finance, tax law, bankruptcy law, corporate organization and governance, estate planning, and secured transactions to assist clients in the full range of financial and commercial issues faced on a day-to-day basis. Having grown up in central West Virginia, Mr. Badmaev takes pride in expanding the economic health of the people and businesses of his home state while also representing the Mountaineer’s commitment to excellence to Willow’s out-of-state clients.

Professional Accomplishments

Mr. Badmaev served in the Army for more than four years, including service in Afghanistan, and brings the qualities and values instilled through those experiences to the service he provides the clients of Willow Legal Advisors.

During law school, Mr. Badmaev earned a CALI Excellence for the Future Award, signifying the highest score in the course, for his efforts in Advanced Bankruptcy.
